Privacy Policy

Publisher: Animate My Logo is created by Interactive Net Solutions. Eligible purchases use Stripe Managed Payments, with checkout and transaction support provided through Stripe/Link.

We collect just enough data to run Animate My Logo, deliver purchases, and keep the service reliable. We don’t sell personal data.

What we collect

• Account basics: Your email address (for sign-in links and receipts), plus your current credits status.
• Purchases: Eligible payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. We don’t store card details. Stripe sends us non-sensitive transaction metadata (for example product/price, payment status and transaction identifiers) so we can credit your account and reconcile refunds.
• App usage: Export counts (to debit credits), anonymous first-party funnel events (for example landing, file selected, trace completed, preview, export and checkout), and a small on-device trial counter so we know when to show the paywall. Our product analytics do not store your email, IP address, uploaded artwork or file name.
• Logo files used for Auto Trace: Raster artwork is uploaded to our server only for native vectorization. The source and temporary SVG output files are deleted immediately after the trace request finishes; they are not kept as user content.
• Analytics: We use our own first-party anonymous product analytics to understand the conversion funnel, plus Google Analytics for aggregate usage (pages, features, device types). Google Analytics uses first-party cookies when enabled.
• Logs: Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, request/response info) for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

Cookies & local storage we set

• Session cookie (essential): keeps you signed in after using a magic link.
• Trial cookie (essential): a small first-party cookie that tracks free trial exports before we prompt to buy/subscribe.
• Anonymous product analytics: We do not create a separate persistent product-analytics cookie. Core funnel events are tied only to the app’s existing browser session using a random session-scoped identifier. Optional detailed UI analytics follow your analytics choice.
• Analytics cookies (optional): Google Analytics may set first-party cookies to measure aggregate usage when you allow analytics.
• Checkout cookies/storage (essential for billing): Stripe/Link may use cookies or local storage during checkout and post-purchase support to process payments, reduce fraud and provide the transaction experience.
• Theme preference (localStorage): we store your chosen light/dark theme as aml_theme on your device only.

How we use your data

• Authenticate with magic links and keep your account working.
• Track exports, apply credits, and fulfill purchases.
• Detect fraud/abuse and keep the service secure and stable.
• Understand which features are useful so we can improve the app (aggregate analytics).
• Temporarily process uploaded raster artwork when you request Auto Trace.

How long we keep it

• Account & purchases: Kept while your account is active (and as required for records). We’ll delete on request, subject to legal/financial obligations.
• Auto Trace temporary files: Deleted immediately after each trace request finishes, whether it succeeds or fails.
• Server logs: Retained briefly for security and troubleshooting.
• First-party product analytics: Anonymous funnel/session records are retained for product measurement and can be periodically purged as operational needs change.
• Google Analytics: Retained per our Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months).

Who processes your data

• Stripe Managed Payments / Link (merchant-of-record checkout, payment processing, receipts and transaction-level support).
• Google Analytics (usage analytics; first-party cookies).

Your data may be processed in the EU and/or the US by these providers under their terms.

Your choices

• You can block analytics cookies in your browser; the app still works.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your account data.
• We only send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, purchase status).

For privacy questions or data requests, open the in-app Help panel (the ? button) and choose the contact option. For billing issues, use the support options in your Stripe/Link receipt or Link account.
